Jojo Rabbit is probably the only family-friendly Nazi movie in existence to date. Or more specifically, the Holocaust as seen through the wide, dewy eyes of 10 year-old Jojo Betzler, an aspiring Nazi militant in training at Hitler Youth (not kidding an actual boy scout academy in history), who’s really just a sweet little boy (who runs to his mother at the sound of thunder) trying to reconcile the concept of war and patriotism with his rosy little part of the world, and it has been going well so far — until he discovers one of the odious Jew-monsters residing in his very own…
